Default Tuna...Nahhh

Went on a 24hr tuna trip, 4.5hrs ride in + 0 bites + 0 fish and 8hrs (nasty, nasty) trip back = my last tuna trip. been on 3 trips last 3 years, and that last one just killed it for me. Good luck to everyone going this years.
there will be tuna rods and a nice reels for sale in the classified section as soon as I get home to take some pic and post them.

Ps. can't wait to get out tomorrow and enjoy sea bass fishing.

Too bad. It's still fishing., But extreme fishing. Long trip and big bux. But still fishing.

And yes it does suck to wait all year for a cooler filled with ice and air after getting your ass kicked staying up all night and roughed up.

I have a huge freezer cooler that has never even been splashed by fish blood. In fact the corners are rubbed through from dragging it in and out over the years.

What you selling? LOL Bad days are not surprising. You know that?

I think I was on that trip with you. Rough trip for sure not sure it's my last but I'll think hard before I do it again.

When they suck they suck big, but when they hit they hit big! Went a couple weeks ago we did Jigged yellowfin up to 100 pounds caught longfin two swordfish and a white marlin. Been on other trips where you get your butt kicked for 24 to 30 hours and nothing but Bruises from the rail to show for it. That's why it's called fishing not catching

It is a safari

You pay your money and takes your chances

I've had slamming trips and some duds. But I've always looked at it as an adventure most people will never experience.
