Saturday twilight bass report
After a short hiatus. We are all geared up and hunting stripers in our back yard.
I cancelled Saturday am trip thanks to NOAA weather report. Boy were they wrong again. I took a great crew of guys out Saturday afternoon. Andy, Andrew, Robert and Robert and again Robert and Robert. To many Robs on the boat for me. First stop was at the triangle where bait and readings were non existent. So we headed to 19 on the reach where we found some life chasing bait on the surface. After a futile attempt of getting them on poppers we started the troll again with shad Rigs. Toothy critters kept eating our tails so we changed over to spoons and bang, first keeper of the fall was in the box. We stayed on the reach where we found plenty of peanut bunker and put a decent catch together. We were at the dock before dark. Remember guys I am running twilight open boat trips weekdays only. Weekends are charters only.
