Down Deep - 10/8 Bottom Dwellers
Late report, but it sure felt good to get back out. Made a crew trip to do some recon of some near and far haunts. Found good life on most drops and bounced around until we found what we were looking for. Proceeded to sort thru all the bottom dwellers with the Porkchops growling, mixed in size with some real nice large and jumbos that always put a good bounce on the rods. Happy with the results after 2+ weeks of a rolling ocean and a too long stretch of prepping for the fall season. Took home some real nice bags of fresh fish. Took a pass on today with the front that came thru last night and the forecasted wind which was the right call. Back at it again tomorrow, few spots remain on both boats -
