Default it's still early, but

looking at NOAA's forecast and the updated spaghetti models, we just might get out next Wednesday for the 48 hr trip---finally!!!!! Hopefully, I didn't just curse us with this thread

Chrisper, I did & my head hurts like heck...
Actually, if NOAA & the models have it right, it'll be a "go"...depending how bad it gets onshore this weekend from "the blow"...

What about all the left over big seas, dirty water, roaring tides. I figure a good week before things start to clear.

Cuz, I agree 100% for inshore but don't think that applies at the canyons--as a matter of fact back in 2000(9/19)2 days after "Gordon" past we went got 11 YFT--next year (9/18) two days past "Gabriel" we got 12YFT and Mahi---seas weren't calm, but very fishable. Yes, there were less than 10 lines in when fish were boated on both trips...but that's no guarantee for every time...just sayin'.....

Don't say that, Shorts...caught a pool winner dead flat -just enough air to fly line a sardine out 300'...dead stickin' too...ya neva know....

Hey Cuz flat calm seas suc# for Tuna plus they seem to like to bite after a nasty storm.
