Default Nasty little eye

couldn't help myself any longer sitting in this transition period waiting for the water to cool down for some autumn feeding fish. So I headed out to cong last night...yeah that's right haha had the whole lake to myself as far as I could tell. can't remember the last time I could say that. rainy and a little windy, but not too bad. pitch black dark sky but the most annoying part was the chunks of floating weed all over the place.

made due anyway and beat up some good points but was only able to get one short eye at 14". Water still so much warmer than it usually is at this time. Here's a picture, mostly because I wanted to join the creepy njfishing selfie club! hahaha! nasty weather, right species, wrong size!

OMG Chris that face....

Nice eye regardless, good to get something out.

Personally make a run to Jamaica Bay for some salt cause Eddy dared me too.

In 3 hours had 3 dogfish, 3 spider crabs, some porgies and 1 sea ray before rain made me put my wet tail between my legs and leave. To say the truth was a great night to be out fishing, had a blast.

Hit the river with me one night this fall... Gonna be good after these fronts pass through! Official fall feed bag trigger!
