![]() Fluking getting hot? Hit 1/2 day Brielle yesterday. Windy am had to anchor. It sucked. Not even a short for me although there were a few fish caught. Almost went home but stayed for pm. Glad I did. Wind calmed and we could drift. Guy next to me had 3 big fluke including 6 lb pool winner before I caught a short, but I stuck to it and had 3 no measure keepers until the wind slowed and it was skate time. Lots of fish around the boat. This goes with 5 keepers last Thursday and 6 this Tuesday ( took both trips ). I am convinced that most fish have been staying in the rivers and bays with the cold water and just coming out now. With no heavy northeaster the next 2 weeks should be good.

![]() You're right. The fluke stayed in the river where we've been caching them all season long. This happened in 2013, and again in 2015. Nothing BIG but a 5.4 pound fluke is good for the river. Hopefully, they will be there for one more season ending trip.
