Default Fish ID?

I've been catching these in my cast net along with peanut bunker. They're about the same size, shape and color and could pass for a peanut at a quick glance. What are they?

This is the type of mullet I've gotten locally in the past. Is this a different species?

Yup, a quick google says you're correct. Apparently they're in fresh and brackish water. The part of the Shrewsbury river I got these in is definitely tidal salt water. Hearty little suckers!
