Default Big Jamaica - Albacore and Blues

Monday report
Fishing was pretty good today.after a slow day Sunday.
We caught around 40 albacore up to 9lbs and picked at bluefish.
The pool winner was:
Jim Belo from Philadelphia Pa 9lb albacore
We were chumming and fish were caught on jigs and bait.
Day trips sail every day this week at 730am. There is a Fishing and Fireworks trip sailing Thursday night from 5PM to 10PM.
Sunday evening we caught fluke.and mackerel.
The Jamaica is sailing Friday and Saturday night at 730pm for blues.
We are also taking reservations for Canyon Tuna trips.
Our first trip sails 5pm Sunday September 6. There is still space available.

Guaranteed the overwhelming majority end up in the garbage. I don't care what anyone says, they are absolutely awful eating. Total waste to have them go home - enjoy the amazing fight they put up, then toss them back.

They make great strip baits for fluke. Wish I could see the look on people's face when they try to eat one.

Agreed! I have tried everything you can think of to marinate, soak, smoke or otherwise make them at least edible. Just does not happen. You know they are bad when cats won't eat them.

I have several great recipes for them, most involve fresh lemon slices...paper plates, used toilet paper, foil and dirt... All say eat everything but the fish! So I would pass
