Default FISH STIX - Fluke 8/26 - 8/30 Reports

Hey Guys and Girls,

Here's a quick report from Wednesday 8/26 through Sunday 8/30.

Wednesday 8/26 - 6 man crew of bucktailers. Worked hard all day catching 11 keeper fluke and only a few shorts.

Thursday 8/27 - Tim's charter of 5. Bait dragging with some Gulps. Stayed in the sand, catching shorts, some junk and a hand full of keepers. ughh.....

Friday 8/28 - Family charter of 6. Mom, Dad and the 4 crazy kids! Played with some small blues and weakfish early on. Then we went and Dragged bait and gulp on some lumps away from the sticky bottom most of the day. Unfortunately only managed to catch shorts. The little guys had fun monkeying around and swimming out on sea girt reef. Could have been the 42 boxes of candy they brought

Saturday 8/29 - Dan English's charter of 6. Late start today due to his late return from a tile trip. Worked hard all over the place catching some shorts, junk fish and a hand full of keepers.

Sunday 8/30 - 6 man crew. Half the guys were first time bucktailers. They did fine. Just couldn't find too many keeper sized fish today. Went everywhere. Finally got some keepers to bite later on in the day. But the wind out there in the deep was strong making it hard for us to hold bottom. Only a hand full of keepers once again.

All in all tough fishing, no matter how ya fish. Maybe when these fish get on the moveto head out, they'll pile up for us and let us have a good shot at them like last September. We'll see!

Off Monday 8/31 and back at it for a Family Fun trip on Tuesday.

OPEN BOAT/CHARTER WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SUNDAY THIS WEEK.

*Don't forget to book your Seabass, Stripers and Blackfish trips before they are filled!

Sorry no pics.........
