Default 8/30 Last Lady -inshore wrecks

Had a great trip Sunday on the Last Lady, the boat was one shy of the limit for BIG winter flounder, they would have been fluke keepers, biggest was about 5#. Both me and my buddy Pete had our 2. I also had 3 nice cod, a just short tog that went back, a handful of big seabass (that also got released), half a dozen congers, and some bergalls. Pool fish was a big cod that didn't need to visit the balance beam, if we caught 7-10 lbers, this one went 15. The boat was visited by 2 residents of the wreck, a couple of 5 ft long hammerhead sharks, they circled around for a while. The low hook of the hi/lo rigs most people favored caught most fish, small 1/0 circle hooks caught as good as J-hooks. We got circled by a private boat who insisted on dropping lines within 20 yds of an anchored boat, Ofishial Bidness, make sure you share them numbers with your buddies, don't try and find your own U friggen assclown. Ride back in was a little sporty with headwinds and a quartering sea the Last Lady was leanin and steamin.
Ps. Left my tackle bag at the dock, black Eddie Bauer number, small reward for info leading to me getting it back intact.

Sounds like a good day. Capt Ralph knows how to put you on the fish. I'm sure Ralph had a few choice words for that private boat
