Party Boat Angler Friday and Saturday report
Friday the weatherman got us with a bad report. He called for south winds and as we got to the grounds the wind came from the north at 20 to 25 knots. We had to go for a ride to catch fish. The fishing was good but finding keepers was tough. Bill Venezia from South Amboy took the pool. Jimmy had the biigest fluke around 8 pounds but was not in the pool.
Saturday we had much nicer conditions and I went searching new areas for a better keeper ratio. We found a lot more keepers today and I found one area for tomorrow that looks promising. The pool fiah today was around 6 pounds caught by Dennis Fatjo from Edison.
