Default What color costas?

I am going to get my third pair of costa del mar lens. Permit style this time around ash wood frames, the other glasses I have I love the amber lens, but I would like to know everyone else's favorite color lens? Even the benefits of the different color for different waters. I know you can read up on this but nothing like some comments from actual use of the product.

Kind of depends on where you fish. Offshore, inshore , bay, lakes.

I use 580 blue mirror for offshore and 580 green for the bay. Both are great for driving too.

My wife has 2 pair and daughter as well. Great repair policy.

As said above call Jamie

I was offshore a few weeks ago with my blue lenses. ..they are great for cutting glare but two times during the trip there were tuna busting on top spotted by the crew and both times I did not catch it. I love love love the glasses a lot and it's possible that I could have just not been paying close attention but just letting you know my experience. I was able to see a ray swimming a few feet under the water though so who knows.

I like the green mirror 580 most of the time.
The blue make the water too black for my liking.
I'm also starting to like the gray 580 for all day use.
They are a little brighter without the yellow tones the amber based lenses give off

Based on the lighting conditions I prefer one over the other. If it is full sun only, I prefer the Gray 580G lens with the Blue Mirror. If the lighting conditions are variable I prefer the Copper 580G lens with the Green Mirror. This lens also is great at dawn or dusk. The Copper lens definitely increases contrast more while the Gray lens just makes everything darker. I find myself wearing the Copper 580G lens more because it is great no matter what the lighting conditions are. If I had to pick one or the other, it would be the Copper 580G lens with the Green Mirror. I prefer the lenses with the mirror coatings because they allow for the least amount of light transmission. It also is really a matter of personal preference. Some people are more light sensitive then others. If you are in the area, stop at the store. I have every lens color in stock and you can take them outside for a test drive. I hope that helps.
