Angie Sea - Cod making a nice NJ comeback! 8/14 & 8/15
Took a ride out Friday with my Dad to check the color in the mudhole. Better but still dirty, trolled the pots for a bit, only cocktail blues as predicted. Stopped at some snags on the way in and found good life on the Cod, landing 8 keepers in about 2 hours.
Out Saturday, went to the same spot and had 24 legal cod between four of us to 10 pounds. Had and one 28 inch pollack about 11 pounds, few ling and a blackfish as well. Great day of bottom fishing!

I think that closure to the north has let some fish trickle down before getting scooped up,by staggers up north! Good for us, hopefully they become more common so we have something to fish for when everything else get closed!

hey doug its gene from f dock,, hit that area 3 times this wk, and good with the cod,, sunday hit some thing submerged under the water, lost my shaft and prop, im screwed for a little while,, see u at the dock
