BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Fluke Report, 8/10
Capt. Paul ran another Open Boat Fluke trip today.On board we had regulars Tom, Bill, Jay & Joe along with newcomer Vince. Paul cleared the Inlet and ran south into a nasty SE swell which once again caused poor fishing conditions. Paul made several stops to the south but the guys could only manage a constant bite of undersized Fluke. After a few hours we finally put our first keeper in the box. Setting up south of the reef in the afternoon two more Fluke were added to the catch The largest a 24" fish caught by Tom. We finished up with 3 keepers and released over 25 shorts. It was a tough day but the guys gave it a maximum effort.
