BOUNTY HUNTER - Fluke With The Mike Frenzel Charter, 7/25
Long time Bounty Hunter supporter Mike Frenzel was on the Bounty Hunter today. Along with Mike were friends Paul, Ed, Cliff & Lisa. Today was Fluke Tournament Day and after making our way thru the mob scene at the Inlet at 6AM we were off to the northern Fluke grounds. Paul was hoping for some better Fluke fishing then we had over the past few days. Once again we had very little drift and a slow bite. We landed several shorts until around noon when the drift improved and the Fluke started to cooperate. 90 % of the bites were short Fluke but the crew did manage to box 4 nice keepers and a hand full of nice Seabass. It was not great fishing but it was a vast improvement over the last 2 days. Always fun to fish with Mike and his crew. He will be back in Aug. to do another Fluke charter.
