Default Evening of Eyes 7-3-15

Fished the river from 1145-300 fri nite/sat morning. Action was much slower than last time out, but I wasnt expecting that kind of action again lol... Caught a 22" walleye and a lil' schoolie striper on a 3.75" soft plastic and another walleye on a plug that measured 18". Had a few other strikes throughout the night but they didnt stick. Water was down a bit, and the bait was still plentiful. The rain wasnt enough to chase me home, either. Lots of carp still roaming around, too. Lovin' me some river action lately! Here's a couple shots of the walleyes...

Hmmm... I actually took my step son and a neighbors kid fishing Friday morning and caught some bass on shiners. But before that, I'd have to say early to mid May? Lol...
