Default Loran Conversion

I have a bunch of loran numbers from an old timer and want to convert them to gps.

I've done some research and can't really seem to get a straight answer.

Does anyone know of a accurate conversion method. Free is good but accurate for a price is way better.

Thanks
Capt Brian

It's a mathematical conversion

It's a mathematical conversion some GPS do but is not highly accurate

if u had the opportuinity use Loran when it was still up .side by side u could convert, accurately some good plotters had a phantom loran system tjat could get u close
If u had couses plotted frpm an old loran chart then ur in business u can plot thoe speed time distance ,I used to log all courses manualluy in casre I ran fog W/O radar so n o matter what systen ur on the ciourse plotted off chart remains same
Loran C was far better than A if u just have numbers only than its a lot tougher, but I read somewhere that a mathematical table might be available that canget u close then u can initiate a serch pattern.

My Garmin converts and I use my loran numbers all the time. Checked against a chart they are pretty much spot on. Some wreck locations can be off some but that is common. Your chart plotter should have a loran feature in it.

My plotter can do it.

I bought Andren software because I had about 100 numbers to do.

The software can "adjust" all the old numbers all at once to make them extremely close.

Like I said I got the numbers from someone else's machine and Lorans were not all the same.

With this software I can adjust my buddies loran numbers to a couple of my confirmed numbers and say they are off by 500 feet South East I can do all the adjustments in one shot.

Thanks for your help.
