sea bass "six pack" for tues?

any charter boats that might be running open for the least day of sea bass on tues??.. I missed a chance to come down last week and fish with a forum member on his own boat, when I got sick the day before.. I and a friend really want to get into some good sea bass fishing on a smaller boat instead of trying to slug it out along with 50 other guys on a head boat.. Seems every charter that runs open dates is fluking. We would rather fish for sea bass and maybe a few ling mixed in.. any help???.. bob

My recommendation would be the Down Deep, large/clean/comfortable boat for that last shot of seabass dream.

I second the down deep out of keyport nice great mate and captain give them a call they might have a few spots for tuesday

Thanks guys.. We were lucky to get 2 late open spots w/ Capt Ray on the Mad Gaffer.. I'll post a report tues night when we get back... This is a big deal for me as the long driving distance keeps me from getting out to the NJ shore very much at all these days.. In a GOOD year , maybe 3 times.. Probably get a trip in on my own boat for fluke later in the summer, and then maybe a tog trip in Nov/Dec.. When I retire in 1 year, I am hoping to make it more like once a month.. we'll see... Wish us luck!... bob
