FISH STIX - Fluke/Seabass Reports

Hey guys,

Monday we had Ryan's charter originally for Bass, so they wanted to try seabass. Had a load of double header shorts for quite some time. Only picking at keepers at the time. Different location and there wasn't much life at all. Headed to another spot and the guys started putting some nice fish on ice. They did finish up the day with an ok catch of a basket of seabass.

Tuesday we actually didn't go but should have. Bad. Call there....

Wednesday we took the day off and changed gears. Had Darren and back up mates Barry and Aj, along with our friend Luke out for a mako shark. Well, to start conditions were tough on the ride out. Stopped a little short of where we wanted to be and didn't like it. Moved and didn't like that either. Headed straight east to find some better water and we did. Just no sharks! Only hammer heads.

Thursday we had Bills charter of 5 originally for bass once again. Obviously there are none. So bill brought a few Bucktails and wanted to try fluking. Well let's just say it was a tough day for them. Had to keep them out of the rocks most of the day. They did manage to catch a some shorts and some keepers.

Passed on today. Just another bass trip but guys didn't want to get rained on or bottom fish. Weekend looks bad. Spots open monday FLUKE. Check the open boat section for our available days....
