Default Would you go out tonight?

Thinking of a night trip on a party boat....ling trip out of Pt Pleasant. WindGuru showing 15-20 with 5 footers. Anyone out there today? Thoughts on conditions? Are these reports legit?

I'd be afraid that they don't sail...
the weather may be fine but people didn't show Thursday
and it was actually really nice

it depends how far the drive is...

The Jamaica and miss belmar princess were in Raritan bay today. Not sure if that helps your decision.

That's because that's where the fish were being caught. Both of those boats had to cross the ocean to get that far north. Plus that's a very long run for those boats so there had to be fish there to do it. As far as Ling it's off shore it pays to call the Capt. ahead of time.

I overlooked the ling comment and thought he was looking to go for night blues, hence the information about the the blue fishing boats. Thanks for tge geography lesson though.

I was in need of some water time this weekend in a bad way. Planned on fluking a 3/4 then hanging for a night trip. Thankfully I watched the weather (woke up at 4am to check) and stayed home, which seemed to be a good choice.

Bit late with this but yeah, I'd go. They found the jumbo blues offshore to the east last night (finally!), you'll have a bit of a bumpy ride going into it but not too bad on a big PB + the ride home all nice & smooth. Crap is supposed to come early in the morning.
