Default Navesink-Shrewsbury reports

Anyone care to share what's, if anything, going on in those rivers?:
Last time down a few days after opening Fluke day was a disaster.

Spent an hour in the navisink just past high tide Sunday afternoon. Granted I had a few novice sticks in the boat but I was diligently jigging my butt off. This all produced on short.

The river the last few years has been kinda off for me.

When I was there last I only found fish near the Oceanic Bridge. Maybe the beluga whales are scaring them off.

As far as I'm concerned they weren't there in any numbers before the whales showed up, near the bridge or up and down the river.
