Talking Lbi fishing help

I am heading to LBI this weekend and want to hit the beach. Any advice on the fishing reports, where, bait choice, current fishing action... Thank you for the help! JP

Right in front of the LBI surf fishing club in Harvey cedars lots of blues and some stripers on bunker chunks. Good luck

Blues are everywhere right now,a few stripes milling around, use chunks if you feel lazy or walk the beach with poppers.Fluke r in the suds as well as the inlet and probably some tog at the lighthouse. Stay away from ship bottom beaches they are doing replenishment there now.

You could always hit the Miss Beach Haven she is starting the fluke season doing 1/2 day morning trips 8-12 in the bay then hit the beach for some evening ( hopefully Stripers ) http://missbeachhaven.com

The rain held us back tonight. I will keep everyone posted if and when I hit the beach! Thank you for the advice! JP

Finally made it out. Had plenty of run offs and landed 3 decent sized blues.
Thanks for the suggestions.
