FISH STIX - 5/15 No Bass, 100+ Blues!
Wednesday 5/13 we literally ran over 60 miles and didn't see a single thing. Nothing nada......
Friday 5/15 we ran a 6 man crew for Stripers. Well the first stop was about an hour long drift jigging blues on some readings. Boy did those super lightweight Jigging World Black Demon Rods with Avet SX reels really show the power they have together. After a few more hours of that it slowed so we went to look around to maybe find some Striped ones.. Next stop was cast and reel blues. Actually some really good fun blue fishing on jigs. 1/2 mile away from there the birds were going nuts. Thought for sure we were gonna see those mystery bass..... Nope just more blues. But in the end the guys all had a blast. Had WELL over 100 blues hooked up, no bass what so ever. The boys came to the dock with 52 big blues in the box. The charter for today opted for a re schedule due to no bass. See ya tomorrow  Capt Kris

Way to get er done Kris, Mike said he had a blast catching big blues all day on jigs and poppers...
