Default New to the SALT SIDE!

Hey guys I used to post a good amount on the freshwater side but after 3 years of work and a whole lot of money our "new" 21ft 88 bayliner pilothouse is ready for a full season of hunting bigger badder fish lol. Fishing is my obsession but Im kind of new to the salt game. Only really hit the salt last season (limited with boat trouble) but we had some good success. With that said were going to get out a lot this year and our first bass trip is tommorrow. Gonna be fishing from 11am till we give up . I know info is extremely protected. Im definately going to do it on my own and put my time in but if anyone has any advice tides spots etc I would be more than willing to share any of my intel in exchange for some help through PM, phone, txt or whatever channel your on. I have a ton of intel on North Jersey reservoirs as I have been doing that from a 15 foot aluminum for years. Maybe that will sweeten the deal lol. Hopefully I'll have some good pics to post Sunday night. Good luck to all !!! Be safe! Hopefully I'll talk to a few of you.

Keep an eye on the fleet. Keep a detailed log book. Weather conditions. Time of day. Tide. And water temp. Mark the spots that were productive. In a couple years you will know where the fish typically are under any given conditions. Won't take but a couple years to become very efficient.

Turn left out of the marina and break out the trolling gear and keep an eye on your fishfinder. Once you locate them you may want to drop the hook on some good readings and keep them around the boat by clamming, chunking and live lining.
