Default D&R Canal

D&R Canal was supposed to get stocked today so I went down to take a few casts. Only two other guys there and the water is like Milk chocolate filled with grass and leaves. I tried fishing but it was impossible with all the crap in the water. I really wish they would stop mowing the grass into the canal, it's bad enough it gets all muddy when it rains but all that crap in the water is just plain ridiculous. It may be fishable by the weekend if it doesn't rain a lot tonight and they stop mowing into the canal.

People who live on rivers dump their grass clippings and leaves and such from spring clean up into the current and forget about it! Haha

Went carping in a park pond Sunday and caught 8 fish on corn meal. When I returned Monday, my spot was covered with vegetation from the flood runoff. I only had 2 bites and landed 2 fish including a common carp.
