Default GAMBLER --2nd Trip of the Season

Weather yesterday held out very nicely for us. Beautiful day on the ocean.

1st drop, tried a little shallower in hopes of some taugs but it did not work out. Water temp is still way colder than average. Moved East and fished a small wreck for better action on small cod --many shorts with a few keepers up to 10+lbs. Steady bites the whole time. Only had 10 fishermen with us, so I fished myself (and boy did I stink. I must be rusty). I was trying for blackfish most of the time but I think they are still lethargic. We did catch 2 undersized taug though.

The weather does not look too good tomorrow but we plan to shape up at the dock anyway, just to see.

We won't be fishing on Sunday (Easter) --but it looks nice for Monday and we already have some calls for that day.
