Default Opening day, D&R canal

Last year it was stocked along Johnson park. Is it just me, or will the area around Johnson Park, Franklin/Somerset, Highland Park, New Brunswick will not be stocked?

Thanks,
D

The Raritan was stocked in that area with the treated fish from the disease outbreak at the hatchery. Not a normal stocking point. The D&R is only stocked in the mercer county area.

I driver over the D&R every day on my way to work in Lawrenceville. This morning I saw a horrifying thing, a cormorant. It had just surfaced from a dive and had a fish in it's mouth, I could tell what kind but wouldn't be surprised if it was a fresh stocked trout. Its way past time to deal with these non native fish killers.
