Default Fly Fishers South Branch

I spotted this group of fly fishers on the South Branch. They were obviously looking for the fly stretch.

Sometimes I focus too much on the fishing aspect and forget the plethora of nature that's in rivers. Thanks for sharing. A pic can go a long way sometimes!

Thanks for posting the resource guides. I knew about Wood Ducks nesting in tree cavities but I didn't know that Mergansers do the same thing. I can't count the number of times that I wished to have my camera with me while I was fishing. The amount of wildlife I've seen while I was out fishing is what helps add to my enjoyment of the outdoors. Seeing foxes, turkeys, snakes, deer, bears, waterfowl, owls, eagles, hawks, beavers, muskrats, reptiles, turtles and more are experiences I would only have experienced in books or on TV. Take the time to look around you while you're on the water. You'll be surprised at what you might be missing.
