![]() Stripers won't be around till mid to late May. You are better off fishing for trout this time of year. As quoted from the 2014 NJ Fishing Digest "....during the spring as proven at the Island Farm Fish Weir fish ladder where in recent years up to 200 trout were recorded by video cameras as they travelling UP the ladder."

![]() I'm pretty sure you'll be able to hook up with something between deadbaiting or throwing lures. The Raritan has to be cleaner than the Passaic so I think more of the
![]() Was on the Passaic today and landed a 6lb striper on an 8" jerkbait. Nothing on dead or live bait though. So they are running, and biting.
