Default every two years?

my friend is telling me fluking will suck this year because it was good this past year...I told him i don't believe it and even if it does suck i'm blaming his drifting skills!

do the fish species go good and bad on and off rotating every other year? let the discussion begin!

I fluke 3 times a week. It was better 2013 ( not just for me but all the regulars on the boats I was on) than 2014 so if your theory is correct this year will be better.

I agree, fluking sucked for me last year so I guess 2015 will be better for me? I usually blame it on the captain too.

last year sucked fpor me too only went one time only had like 1 or 2 over my limit & not as much short action. I blamed the massive snow amounts & salt dumping into the bays so this year gonna suck too

Maybe my standards are lower than yours but we primarily fished the bay last year (raritan) and between two of us we boated 4-6 pounders every weekend for over a month with a boat limit of keepers one day and many days of 70+ shorts. I thought it was great.

Which responder is "yours"?

Unsure what ya meant by "bay" in your first post.

Most guys hated on the "back" last year. Personally I thought it was tough going but scratched out some nice catches.

Fluking out Front at the Reef down to Belmar IMO was definitley much slower then past years. Fish were caught, but many slower days and not as many keepers. I still had a good year but I don't believe most did.
