Default Captain Cal Fun Day

It was a fun day of fishing with the group, most of the action was early morning until early afternoon. The morning bite was decent, Kevin Kelly took the pool with a nice 7 lb. 14 oz. tog plus some other nice size keepers.. Greg. T didn't do to badly with a 6 lb. 8 oz. tog and several other keepers. Jim -- Delaware had togs up to 5 1/2 lbs, his son T J , missed some nice keeper togs, his swing wasn't fast enough !!!, Joe Joe from Queens , put some nice 5 pounders in his cooler.. We had many short togs that were just 1/2 inch short, the bite today was from mid ship to the bow, we moved the group at the stern, to the mid ship/ bow area... We gave the group an extra hour of fishing time.. See you in the morning

A great day on the Cal today. Capt. Ron had us on the fish from the first drop. Fishing slowed down later in the day. Most on the boat had fish to bring home. Over all not a bad day.
