Default Ocean Explorer Tuesday

Ground swell was the word of the day today,,,big swell out of the south,,,Shut the bite down inshore so we had to fish a little deeper to get into the fish,,,Not that it was good fishing,,you had to work at it and deal with some dogfish at times but some of the guys caught some fish,,,high hooks had 4-5 keepers,,some 2-3,,etc...some one or some did get the skunk or only caught shorts but considering the swell we had I guess I should not complain,,Almost a three way tie for the pool but Jack ended up winning by an ounce..,check out some of the pics from today....As for tomorrow its supposed to get nasty but I am hoping that the winds hold off and we can get out before it starts...so we are shaping up to fish in the morning...See ya then..

Gotta tip my hat to the Capt- real professional, that put in quite the effort, in spite of less than ideal conditions -that extra hour and a half he tried- helped me put 2 in the box, after 6 hours without so much as a touch. No shorts, bergalls, nada- when you finally did get a tog bite, was real subtle- they just kinda snuggled up to it. That big southerly must have really turned them off. Thanks again Capt Bob, believe that's his name. Class act, with top notch capt & crew

Nice post skiinydog. Capt Bobby is one of the best and will do whatever it takes to help customers put fish in the boat. Nobady describes the pieces he is fishing better than him.

Yo Capt Bobby ... That sunset tonight was absolutely insane. Great pic. They moved Andrew's football game up to tonight due to the weather and I watched this sunset before the game at the stadium. An incredible display overlooked by so many. I pointed it out to people and they could care less. Keep your eye to the sky ..it is good for your heart !!!!
