![]() Going to launch the boat for one more try tomorrow out of either Keyport or Atlantic Highlands, depending on what I learn today.
Any stripers in the back bay or they between the channels off the hook? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

![]() They are kind of spread out right now. There are still plenty of them in the bay. You just have to find the bait. I've done best on the Staten Is side near the rock pile but they are spread out. Find the bait, find the fish. Stay on the outskirts of the bait when you do find them and you will be rewarded.
There are plenty of fish in between the channels too. Brid life will be your indicator there. |

![]() Yep - This time of year you are in search mode along with everyone else... If you find them be prepared to use everything in your tackle box. It's different every day and in every situation and all depends on luck, timing and what they happen to be feeding on and matching the hatch.
