![]() Looks like the weather might actually work in our favor this weekend. If the weather forecast holds, I'm planning to head out for some striper fishing. My first thought was to head out of Shark River and up to the Shrewsbury Rocks. On the other hand, I'm tempted to head out of Barnegat and try my luck there. Any suggestions? What type of bait?

![]() Snag and drop fresh live bunker on pods. Hop around from pods and weed thru the blues till you find the right bite.
Jig crocks in the marks. Sand eels may be present so bring some thin profile baits or vision sand eels. May have to troll some spoons... All depends on there moods. Ill be south but if it was up to me id fish north. If all else fails BLACKFISH!!!!
