![]() Hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys had any tips for catching herring? I have never targeted them and thought it would be a cool thing to do to change it up. Any hot colors for sabiki rigs? Any good spots to fish from shore? Any special techniques? Thanks! |

![]() Usually manasquan inlet is where you can find herring/shad in good numbers at times. Outgoing tide is what I usually have the best luck. Danilo rigs work well and little mister twisters too. Goodluck

![]() I thought catching hearing was not allowed in NJ any longer? I see the "river hearing" is a closed species.
