J2 - round two with pics

12 hour trip today produced another excellent day with big Seabass, Porgies and Cod. Numerous limits with Seabass, Giant Porgy catches averaged 15-40 for most -biggest kind- and a nice spread of Cod around the boat with the pool winner tipping the scale at 31 pounds.

Bob Plasket Medford 15 Seabass 37 Porgies 2 Cod
Azmut Gruzbowski Teaneck, NJ limit Seabass 3 Cod and 27 Porgies
Boris Ivanov Phila, Pa cooler full of fish with a 31 pound Cod on top.

Most of the fish caught today were BIG so a lot of full coolers around the boat.
Best bottom fishing of this season this weekend, it doesnt get much better than this.
Week coming up looks crappy weather wise probably wont get back out till Weds or Thursday

Nothing fancy typical bluefish type boat rod - 30-40 lb test, stiff enough to swing a 10 ounce sinker if the currents running
Havent been fishing that far off or that deep yet - 120-145'
