Talking BiG "D" rEpOrT!!! 11/12

Been hitting the BIG, BIG river alot in recent days looking for monsters but haven't come up with any as of yet. Rivers are really low across the state and its quite boring when everything is so low if you ask me. In search of ghosts I live lined, dead sticked and worked all kinds of baits in the low water. From cut bait to shiners under slip bobbers, I've tried em all in recent days only to come with a few sub par fish that I wasn't really looking for. Catching is catching but I had really high expectations for some reason.

Day 1, Sunday, lure used, THE BINSKY!
Caught and released 3 short Walleye between 10-15 inches. Nothing on bait.

Day 2, Tuesday, baits used, swim shads, Shiners under slip bobbers and cut bait. Caught and released 4 Walleye but all short again, 12-15 inches. Also caught 3 Smallies on shiners, biggest went 15 inches, the other 2 were around 12 inches. Cut bait was driving the Channels crazy but they were just gumming at it, took a while for them to inhale the bait of choice. 3 Channels were caught and released with the biggest being around 5lbs, the other Channels were babies around 2lbs a piece.

Day 3, today, baits used, cut bait and spinner rigs. Caught one Walleye at 15 inches and that was it for the Walleye bite. I tried everything in the book but they just weren't chewing today. Managed to get a few more Channels on the cut bait today but all small, BLAH!!! Little 2 lbers get really annoying after a couple days of hitting it HARD. And the beat goes on!

Some fish were caught which is a plus but what I'm looking for isn't there yet. It will be. Its only a matter of time. The fish are still biting so get out and get some. YEA BUDDY!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!!

A selfie while on the phone?!?! That is talent that cannot be taught!

I hope you released that poor little Trout that you accidentally snagged with the big circle hook .
