Playin' Hooky Bass
I couldn't stand being blown out for six sundays in a row...so you know what i did today.. It was a great call as my crew and I had all day action. The bass were on fire today. We easily caught over 35 fish with the majority of them on topwater Tsunami poppers using lite tackle spinning gear. Started the day in the back bay, but it wasnt worth battling position with all the boat traffic. Made a move out front near the channels and the bass were boiling on peanuts. The top water action was fierce and I almost landed a double-header (bass&blue), but they came unbutton at the boat. Great day and cant wait for the weekend. Please wind, stay away this sunday... :-)

Rather catch them on topwater/then bunkering anyday.ps play hooky every Wednesday.Thanx fishnchips.
