Default Big Pit Reel for Carp and Surf Fishing

Hi, I'm looking for a bigger reel with a longer cone to be able to cast farther. Would like to have it double as a carp reel and a surf reel comboed with a 12 foot rod.

I found the Daiwa Crosscast X 5000 for a fair price. Is this reel up to the job? Will be loaded with 15 pound line, I am mostly concerned whether it will cast far for surf fishing.
Any help and recommendations is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I also see the Shimano Baitrunner ST 10000 is a decent one.
Any recommendations from anglers on here?

What is your current surf set up and what type stuff are you casting that you aren't getting enough distance? These special spool imo will not help you drastically.,.it could be more in your rod line lure etc! I can stand right next to thefancy smancy high tech and throw the same lure with my cabo and land feet apart! Or further!

As far as surf setup goes, I have 12 foot rods and will be throwing weights of around 3oz to 5oz in size with some small baits on the hooks (have considered using bloodworms, sand worms, live killifish, pieces of crab, shrimp, clam, and squid). Fishing for anything that bites, not specifically targeting anything yet.

Line is 15 pound monofilament with 50 pound monofilament leader of more than 12 foot in length ( to avoid breaking the 15 pound line upon casting the weights.)

I didn't think the reels mentioned would be considered fancy, but if there are any simpler recommendations, I'm always looking for more info.

I know i can cast real far with 15foot or 16 foot rods coupled with a big cone reel with braided line but that just sounds more expensive than i would like to start out with.

This is a beginner setup as i have not fished surf many times before.
My 12 foot rods should be good enough, just looking for a good reel to pair them with for both carp and surf duties. Thanks for the help.
