![]() Just spoke with a buddy of mine who returned late yesterday afternoon from the Hudson. It took them about 7 hours to get to the grounds on a PB and did not even get started fishing until 1-2 AM. Fishing fell off- only about 8-10 LF's in the 30-45 lb class on the boat and that was it. A few guys had 2 fish, some 1, most none. They had only 6-7 hours to fish in total. I did hear there is still a ton of squid out there though. My guess is that all that wind before hand impacted the fishing and the fish were not concentrated. Was surprised they decided to go out with all of that wind. 7 hours to the Hudson...No thank you!
I did hear there is a good bite (and better water) developing in the Baltimore and Wilmington.... |

![]() Sounds like the yft are moving out and the lft taking over with the cooler water. This seems to happen around this time.
