Default Too do, too do?

Spent the day cleaning up the dirty shrimp for a day of fishin tomorrow. Was thinking of extending the season by playing catch and release for the flat ones (I know the season is closed but possession is 9/10ths of the law and I won't be in possession at any time at least that's the way I see it) but the reports today look pretty bad. So what is plan "b"?

May be take the DS out blue fishing. Waiting for those reports. I have taken my little boat out to the SRR. in the past, it is an adventure. Just waiting to hear where the gators are if here at all. If those reports suck I guess plan "c". Put on the wreck anchor and try my hand at togging.

Any advice

A
B or
C

another option..Get a few light rods, some clams and sands and a 2 hook bottom rig with small hooks, and go load up on porgies right in the bay, or between the channels.. There are some blowfish around, spots, small sea bass, and maybe a few kings, croakers or small weaks as well.. My brother and brother in law did it a few days back, and loaded up with nice porgies, and had frantic action, right close to the hook, inside the bay... bob

Ok. Option c. Just tied a bunch of tog rigs and put capt joes wrech anchor on the boat. Will use up my fluke bait trying one last time for a trophy. Catch, weigh, take a pic and release. They didn't bite today maybe tomorrow. As I say catch and release. I don't consider myself a pirate but believe it is a possession thing. If that don't work I'll practice grappling and go for tog on the reef.

Scup were never my thing. Although the four pounders in montauk put up a hell of a fight.

Don't run at night so that's out. I am still learning in the light and have no radar. I'm at the barn by dusk. I did here some stripers were caught on eels in the day light. But I'd rather tog.

Whatever, I'll be on the water fishin for somethin
