Captain Cal FLUKE
It was a "decent day" of fishing today, regarding the ocean conditions we had yesterday. The weather was comfortable, the morning started out with a faster drift, as the morning went on, the drift became a good .7 kts. We had action right from the start, at first with some larger short fluke almost eighteen inches and some nice keepers, as the drift slowed down the keeper fluke coming over the rail picked up. We had to throw back some jumbo knucklehead sea bass. Roy from Burlington N.J. took home the $$$ pool with a 6 lb. 2 oz. fluke. Bobby Blackfish had four keepers up to 4 lbs. 10 oz. Charlie from Freehold N.J. also had four fluke up to 4 lbs. Some of the group had anywhere from one to three keepers. and some had shorts and sea bass throwbacks.. Tomorrow is looking like another nice fishing day. Join us in the morning, we leave at 7:30 am..
Tuesday is our Fluke Marathon Fishing from 7:00 am to 4:00pm. No reservation required..
You can drive your car behind our boat, we will help you unload your gear, then you can go and park your car. Free Parking..
