Incoming when the wind is with the tide will be better but its not going to be pretty. Outgoing tide is going to get messy unless you are tucked behind the hook and not exposed to the east wind.

Well if it's too sporty in the middle of the bay you can always tuck in behind the hook by the coast guard station to get out of the east winds. I'll bet that is where you are going to find most boats today, at least during the outgoing it's one a a few few places you wont have wind against tide during the outgoing. Looks like wind guru is showing a little less east wind in the afternoon and any time after 1 pm you'll have an incoming tide with the east wind at your back so your ride home should not be too bad and the middle of the bay might be fishable too.

Good luck and let us know how you made out.
