![]() It liked my homemade corn meal bait with mulberry syrup from Lebanon. It was hooked inside the mouth with a #14 gold treble hook which I removed with needle nose pliers. Two burrs of the hooked were smashed.

Watch your fingers! ![]() When I was a kid, I would sometimes accidently catch those in the Passaic when I was fishing for bullheads. To remove the hook, I would get the snapper to bite down on a stick, then when he was biting the stick I would grab onto the hook with pliers and try to twist out out. .
