Default Pike of all sizes...

Hit the river after work from 6 to dark. Got 13, lost 2 and had half dozen other swipes. They must have stocked recently 'cause I saw and hooked quite a few young ones in the 4 to 7" range. Got three decent ones of 33", 27" and 24" River is just about at ideal levels. Mosquitoes weren't all that bad either. Mud is a real issue so footing is lousy but other that a fun few hours.

I was shocked. My buzzbait is small - only 1/8 oz - but they someone managed to grab it. I got 7 of the little guys. River is loaded with fathead minnows so its good food for them. They should grow fast.
