Default 7/19 Seabass/ Fluke report

Received invite from friend to join them as they were planning on targeting seabass as guys from their Marina had a good day the previous day. Knowing the area I new I would be able to catch some fluke as I bucktailed 7 keepers there the previous Sunday under less than ideal conditions. As they were fishing their high low rigs I stayed with my bucktail rig that has been producing and was able to put 4 of the 5 keeper fluke in the box. Nothing great as biggest ran about 21 inches. They also put a few seabass to top the catch. Slow fishing in my book as it was my worst day for keepers with four in 4 trips. Based on what I have been hearing from guys fishing out of AH a 4 keeper day seems to be not a bad day of keepers for a day of fishing recently.

I thought drifting conditions were good so I was expecting better results than the previous Sunday. You just never know. You can not catch them from the couch so moral of story is to just go fishing whenever you get the chance. We saw a thresher in the neighborhood and Steve was horny to but him in the boat as he was ready for him with shark rig ready to go. Got him teased up to about 30 ft from the boat as he was able to see white spot on tail. Lucky for the shark he did not come back. I would not be surprised if early next week we will be reading report of Thresher caught on the Legacy. Even though fishing was not the greatest I got a chance to fish with one of my best friends which is always a highlight for me regardless of the catch.

Is the Legacy the 35 Henriques with the blue hull? Never seen that boat before but did on Saturday, very nice.

Yes it is. Color like a sea foam green. I think I remember two henriques out their. One was a 42 Flybridge and a smaller 28 that looked like it had a custom enclosure which was probably you guys.
