Default New York Fluke

Had my cousin, Steve Failla from Flemington, N.J. out with me on the Funny Pharm, A.H.
Left the dock at 7 a.m. We tried N.J. waters first. Ammo pier, TC Buoy, Reach Channel, and a couple of mussel beds I know. Fishing was really slow for everyone in the am. Then I crossed the bay towards Brooklyn. After bouncing around for a hour we found a large school of fluke east of Ambrose Channel. It was right at the end of an incoming tide. We never left the area. In a matter of two hours we had caught twenty five fluke and one legal seabass. Finished with eight fish from 2.5lbs. - 5 lbs. We were very surprised how the day started and the way it ended. We gave it our best and came away with a nice bunch of fillets.
