Fluke - 10 Day Recap...More To Come

We fished 3 times over the past 10 days. Fished the Sandy Hook, Great Kills and The Reach.

First day, we ended up with 12 keepers to 6.75 pounds (Keefe caught on white bucktail tipped with w/ squid). Then…checked my phone to see my friend Austin Perilli holding and 11 ½ pound fluke that he caught on a Bucktailboys white 4oz bucktail tipped w/ a chartreuse gulp caught off of Breezy Point.

Second day… we ended the day with 6 keepers to 6 ½ pounds, one 5 ½ and 4 between 18-22 inches. Hot hand was nuclear chicken bucktail with chartreuse gulp.

Third day…we ended the day with 5 keepers to 4 pounds. White bucktail seemed to be hot again.

What’s Hot?
Seems like white and nuclear chicken outperformed the other colors.
