Default Carnegie Lake 6/22

Had the chance to get out yesterday for a few hours with the wife. Decided to try Carnegie lake just avoid the crowds and because I haven't been there in about 5 years. Love electric only lakes for keeping the traffic down. It's a great little lake/river and it was a beautiful day...but yesterday was tough. Went from 11 AM until about 4 with only two LM on a T-rigged worm. Both were within inches of some sort of wood and tight to shore....everything is tight to shore at that lake. We threw the box at 'em too. Wife caught a nicely patterned Catfish on gold Panther Martin...Don't know what kind it is but he was cool looking. What say you NJFrs'....What kind of cat is that?

.

That's a Yellow Bullhead.
They're good eating. Just watch those jaws. They're surprisingly strong.

Thumbs up Re: Carnegie Lake 6/22

Nice fish! Like you said, stay tight to the shore. Plenty of sunnies up in the pads by the damn. LMB along the shore in cover.

Tryin my best to stay in the game...work is killin me lately but at least the weekends have opened up a little. No way I can keep up with the maniacs on this board though! Alot of great posts and fishin going on in NJ this year for sure boys. It is a great motivator for me to get off my lazy ass and get out there when I'm feeling wiped and just want to crash. Keep it up fellas.

Gotta hook up with you and some of the crew after I get back from vaca....feel like I'm missin out and it's driving me nuts.
