Big Jamaica Monday 6-16-14

Bluefishing was good today. We had plenty of action on jigs catching blues up to 7LBS. The blues were working on the surface at times and we read plenty on the scope. While we were bluefishing we also saw school of dolphin, (flipper, not Mahi-mahi) and a couple of Humpback whales feeding on the schools of bunker. We fished for blues most of the day and then went looking for Striped Bass. We found plenty of bunker and caught a few more blues and one 34LB striper. We also hooked a good size Thresher shark that jumped twice but, was too big for the spinning rod it was hooked on. The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail every day at 7:30AM and every night at 7:30PM Call 732-528-5014 for further information.
